Who we are

Nougah is a marriage and matchmaking app operated by CloudAura LLC ("Nougah", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy applies to the Nougah mobile app and the nougah.com website. For any privacy question, contact us at [email protected].

Information we collect

• • Account & phone number. You sign up with your phone number, which we verify by sending a one-time code over WhatsApp.
• • Profile information. Details you choose to provide — such as your name, age, gender, photos, and the preferences you set for matching.
• • Identity & liveness verification (biometric data). To keep Nougah real and safe, we run a face "liveness" check that confirms you are a live person and matches it to your profile photo. This processing uses Amazon Rekognition. This is sensitive biometric information; we only use it for verification and anti-fraud, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
• • Location. With your permission, we collect your precise or approximate location to show you nearby matches and relevant results.
• • Messages & media. The messages, photos, and files you exchange with other members through Nougah chat.
• • Safety & moderation data. Reports, blocks, and related information we use to moderate the community and enforce our rules.
• • Purchases. When you buy a subscription or coins, the payment is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive purchase and entitlement records through RevenueCat; we do not receive your full card number.
• • Device & usage data. Device identifiers, app version, push notification tokens, and basic technical logs used to operate the service and deliver notifications.

How we use your information

• ✓To verify identity, prevent fake accounts and fraud, and keep the community safe.
• ✓To deliver chat, notifications, and the features you use.
• ✓To process subscriptions and purchases and provide support.
• ✓To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

Service providers we share with

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the providers that help us run Nougah, under contracts that limit their use of it:

• • Cloudflare — hosting, database, and storage of your profile, photos, and messages.
• • Amazon Web Services (Rekognition) — face liveness and identity verification.
• • RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play — subscriptions and in-app purchases.
• • WhatsApp — delivery of one-time verification codes.
• • Expo — delivery of push notifications.

Other members see the profile information, photos, and messages you choose to share with them. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our members.

International transfers

Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country, including by the providers listed above. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, safety, or anti-fraud obligations.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent (including for location and biometric verification), and to object to certain processing. You can edit your profile and delete your account in the app at any time, or contact us at [email protected]. We will respond consistent with applicable law (including the GDPR where it applies).

Children

Nougah is only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor is using Nougah, contact us and we will remove the account.
